Our Committee members are dedicated to helping our group achieve it’s goals. They are all volunteers who give their time and in a lot of cases their expertise to help our group achieve it’s goals.
Worked with finance since mid-80’s and qualified in Public Sector Accounting in 1997. Currently subject matter expert in Projects for the Oracle ERP business system for the Local authority.
Follow the BSB and the Road racing series and Marshal at the Isle of Man TT – at Whitegates in Ramsey – feel free to pop over in race week and mention MCBB if you are on the island.
Ridden a motorbike since 1995, and commute daily to work in the centre of Chester.
Initially volunteered as a rider to get out and about on the bike and to show that Bikers are great people – Volunteered as Treasurer in May 2017, elected at the AGM in October.

This is Lesley Byrne, who has recently graduated in early years education.
Lesley is our main dispatcher / controller. Lesley receives calls during the day and early evening. She is now also a committee member
Lesley, in association with Tiny, manage our busy daytime riders and ensures that all our riders are dispatched efficiently, she can also monitor our riders with our unique rider tracking system so ensuring our riders arrive safely and on time.
Lesley updates the hospitals where and when required.
Our operation now runs much more efficiently now Lesley is on board.
Membership Secretary & Operator
I am an operator, membership secretary and committee member for Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes.
When I’m not operating and sending our riders on jobs, I am busy recruiting potential new members to our ever growing team.
I joined Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes to give something back to the NHS. As I believe it’s a fabulous charity to be involved in.
Weekdays, I work in a primary school teaching IT to all classes and I also give specialist support in literacy. In July 2017,
I graduated with a 2:1 from Liverpool John Moores University, with a Degree of Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Learning, Development and Support (LaWP).

I’ve been with blood bikes now for four years , in that time I have been to lots of fundraising days.
I was the first rider to reach 100 runs for Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
I have serviced some of the bikes, and been the person who has ‘Acquired’ stuff i.e. stickers , clothing badges jackets etc…..
I’m now known as the quartermaster for the group, now also part of the team that does blood bike talks in the community helping to raise extra money for the group,
I’m an active member of the Bike-Marshals, protecting British cycling races in and around Cheshire.
I’m a regular visitor to the TT and I ride a Honda VFR 1200 Cross-tourer.
I’m A proud member of this group
